Wear package for a non-ferrous shredding circuit

Background: parts from different sources wore at different rates, so the circuit was stopped more often than planned. Solution: hammers, grids and rotor caps were selected as one matched package, with grades chosen for the non-ferrous feed and the impact condition of the machine. Scope: shredder hammer, grid and rotor cap. Outcome: the package was delivered with a traceability code for every casting.
